‘Could not execute CVTRES.EXE’ error when opening Site Web Analytics Reports

While trying to access the Site Web Analytics Reports page for a site I was presented with an error I hadn’t encountered before:

An error occurred during the compilation of the requested file, or one of its dependencies. Could not write to output file ‘c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\root\7c484ee9\67ad0119\App_Web_report.aspx.aaea8364.sx44f2v9.dll’ — ‘Could not execute CVTRES.EXE.’

After looking through the Application Event Log on the server I spotted this entry for Event ID 1334 ASP.NET 2.0.50727.0 which pretty much gave the game away:

So, given that it looks like the server was low on resources I restarted and the error went away!
