SharePoint 2010 Regional Settings and Locale

Every time I install SharePoint 2010 I have to remember that by default the time zone and locale are set to American and need to be changed.  To change the locale and time zone following these steps:

1. Log in to your site as a site administrator

2. From the Site Actions menu choose Site Settings

3. From the Site Administration menu choose Regional Settings

4. Change the time zone and local as required

Locale

5. Click OK
