Checking in multiple documents at once

Sometimes I upload multiple documents to a document library and they require check-in.  One or two documents isn’t much of a problem but any more than that can become a chore.  Well it is possible to check-in multiple documents at once using the Checked Out to Me report.  Here’s how:

1. From Site Actions choose Site Settings

2. Under the Site Administration section click Content and Structure

3. Select the document location from the tree view on the left

4. Change the view to "Checked Out To Me"

5. Select the documents to check in and from the Actions menu choose Check In

Checked_Out_To_Me

The report uses this rather simple CAML query:

<Where><Eq><FieldRef Name="CheckoutUser" LookupId="TRUE"/><Value Type="Integer"><UserID/></Value></Eq></Where>

Note: This feature is not available in SharePoint Foundation
