Create a new site template

Creating new sites from a template can be a real time saver, especially if you want them all to have the same layout or include specific content (such as folder structure, document templates, etc).  Creating a new template takes only a few clicks once you have a site ready to clone:

1. Browse to the site that you wish to use as the template
2. Open the Site Settings page
3. From the Site Actions section click Save site as template
4. Enter the file name, template name and a description.  Tick the box to include content if required.  Click OK, and then click OK again.

You can now create new sites from this template.
