Databases exist on servers running SharePoint Foundation

I am working on an installation of SharePoint Foundation that has been reporting the following error for some time:

Databases exist on servers running SharePoint Foundation

To ensure better performance it is highly recommended to host the databases used by SharePoint on a dedicated server, however, this is a standalone installation of SharePoint Foundation so the error can safely be ignored.  To keep the Health Analyzer looking pretty and remove this warning I have decided to disable the timer job.  This is easy to do from the Central Administration:

1. Log into the Central Administration

2. Enter the Monitoring section

3. Click Review Rule Definitions

4. Under the Performance category click Databases exist on servers running SharePoint Foundation

5. Click Edit Item

6. Deselect the Enabled check-box and click Save

Now the Timer job will stop reporting this as a problem.
